One of the principles of MINDFUL or INSTINCTIVE EATING is to listen to your hunger and fullness signals - being aware that your body is "asking for fuel".

Identifying PHYSICAL HUNGER as opposed to HEAD HUNGER is the first step to eating mindfully.

QUESTION :

"But how do I know how hungry I am ?" - "When should I eat ? When should I stop eating ?"

ANSWER :

By giving your Hunger and Fullness level a number.
